After the launch of its flagship Moto Edge X30 late last year in China and also in India, Motorola has now officially announced the launch of the vanilla Moto Edge 30 which comes as a toned down version of its older sibling with a Snapdragon 700 series chipset, 144Hz- screen and more. Check out the details below.

This phone is almost perfect! *Moto Edge 30*

The Moto Edge 30 is similar to the Moto Edge 30 Pro in many ways. However, Motorola had to cut some corners due to the device's lower price tag, which is almost half the price of the Edge 30 Pro. So instead of the 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen on the Edge 30 Pro, the vanilla model comes with a smaller 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen. However, you will still get support for 144Hz refresh rate, DCI P3 color gamut and HDR10+ for the 10-bit panel.

Up front is a 32MP selfie snapper with pixel-binning technology. The back of the device rocks a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary lens with All-Pixel AF and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 118-degree FOV, and a 2MP depth sensor. You will be able to try out features like Portrait Mode, Dual-Capture, Super Slow Motion, Face Beauty and more.

Under the hood, unlike the Edge 30 Pro which packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the Moto Edge 30 comes with a Snapdragon 778G+ processor, which was launched as an overclocked variant of last year's SD 778 5G chipset. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, with no room for expansion. Unfortunately, the device also doesn't come with a 3.5mm audio jack.
