Jonathan Majors Boomed Over Robert Downey Jr's Marvel Villain Casting | TMZ

Against the tide of the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, a tide of excitement has risen with recent reports that Robert Downey Jr. will take on a new mantle as Doctor Doom. Certainly, this has reignited the spark in the hearts of fans all over the world. Did we ever expect or witness such a remarkable comeback?

Well, as many jump for joy, Jonathan Majors harbors a bittersweet feeling, his own hopes for Kang left in the dust when he lost his Marvel villain role to the Iron Man star. Downey Jr., 59, announced his casting as Doctor Doom, the primary antagonist in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend.

In a Tuesday interview with TMZ, Majors revealed his thoughts on the casting announcement. The actor, 34, expressed his confusion when asked if it was unfair that he wasn't given the same treatment for a superhero movie comeback as Downey Jr. & Ezra Miller received after their arrests.
