Steven Spielberg's Jaws is one of the most significant horror films that still gives beachgoers the chills. The iconic 1975 shark movie played a crucial role in establishing the filmmaker as one of Hollywood's biggest names. But at one point, Jaws became too much for a young Spielberg to handle. The film's production is so infamous that it even gave PTSD to ET fame.

As witnessed in Spielberg's projects, the Jurassic Park filmmaker always displays a distinct style and a grand vision in his projects. Despite being the third project of his career, Steven Spielberg wanted to give his best to Jaws and planned to shoot the entire movie in the ocean.

Although the difficult plot contributed immensely to the film's worldwide success, the problems that followed off-film also took their toll on the filmmaker.
