In the Paranormal Liberation arc, when the villains planned to ambush the hero community with numerous attacks without giving them a chance to attack back, Midnight was among the heroes who risked her life without thinking twice. Midnight was not only a potent combatant but also an intelligent R-rated hero, making her a tough opponent for the villains.

But when Midnight decided to fight Shigaraki's trump card, Gigantomachia, it turned out to be the worst decision the Pro Hero ever made. In chapter 278 and episode 120, Midnight climbs on the huge beast's back to put him to sleep, but she is unaware that another potent MHA villain, Mr. Compress, already on his back. So while she was about to attack Gigantomachia, another villain ambushed her.
