The Abandoned Ruins is a type of ruin that you will encounter in My Time at Sandrock. They are a lucrative area for mining ore as well as Old World technological relics. As of now, the only available Abandoned Ruins in the game is the one behind the Eufaule Salvage.
The best part is that you can access it quite early in the game. If you don't know how yet, then this guide is for you.
To unlock the ruins, you must build a crane lift as part of the "Picking Up the Slack" quest. This elevator will allow you to reach the area, and once you unlock it, you will be able to access the mine.
