As Helldivers around the world enjoy their government-sanctioned hiatus after eradicating the automatons, another mystery has surfaced on friendly ships. Discovered by other Helldivers, the mysterious element is in the form of a new module added to the game's ship management menu. But what is this module and why is it confusing everyone?

The strange revelation comes from the official Helldivers 2 subreddit. Spotted by u/iSaltyParchment on Reddit, the PSA mentions that a rogue item called "Catalog Expansion" has appeared in the ship management menu.

As stated in the description, the directory expansion module claims to "Improve controls for Helldivers during Hellpod installation."

However, a comment from the game's community manager, Baskinator (Katherine Baskin), has made it clear that it is an interceptor and should not be installed. Doing so may interfere with your resources. Still, the mod has also mentioned that this points towards hints of new ship modules coming our way.
