This week's TV is a choose-your-IP adaptation adventure of sorts: '90s X-Men returns, complete with nostalgic animation vibes, in X-Men '97. If you're looking for an alternate timeline version of a classic video game (and kind of a silly one at that), there's the Halo Season 2 finale.

Then there's 3 Body Problems, Netflix's major adaptation of the great science fiction novel of the same name (and its sequels). As our managing editor Matt Patches put it in his review, 3 Body Problem "feels epic in scope while exploring the messiness of human instinct."
