We get a plethora of messages on WhatsApp daily. Whether they come from your loved ones, friends, office colleagues or groups, don't forget about spam emails from companies. All of this can easily clog up your chat window, making it difficult to find the messages you were looking for. It seems that WhatsApp also understood this problem, which is why they are releasing chat filters on the app.
How to easily sort or filter unread Whatsapp messages
As WhatsApp announced in its blog post, chat filters will soon find your phone. These will appear at the top of the chat window, probably below the search bar, so you can easily sort messages. The filters will be available in three different categories.
All: This shows all your chats and messages.
Unread: This filter lists all messages that have not yet been opened and that you have not read.
