Noise Shots XO: These aren't the buds you're looking for

Noise, the company behind truly wireless earbuds like the Noise Shots X5, recently launched a new pair of truly wireless earbuds called the Noise Shots XO. The earphones come in a case that looks like it could be a makeup kit or a miniature pressure cooker from a kid's kitchen, and are priced at INR 5,499. Well, I tested them and compared them to the Realme Buds Air (£3,999), and to be honest, the Noise Shots XO do some things really well, but they're not the truly wireless buds you should go for. Here's why.

Noise Shots XO: How to restore

Look, most Bluetooth headphones — especially true wireless ones — are at least a little bit of a pain to pair with a smartphone with the exception of a few, including the Galaxy Buds, which pair with Samsung phones in the same easy way that AirPods (and AirPods Pro) pair along with iPhones and iPads.

However, pairing the Noise Shots XO is frustrating and annoying. Here is the process.

You open the case and remove the earbuds from inside. The LEDs will start flashing white and red, signaling that the earbuds are in pairing mode. So you go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and pair the "Shots XO-R" or "Shots XO-L" to your phone.
