One of the coolest things about working at Polygon is recommending new, exciting games to play, whether they're indie games, cozy games, board games, or just the best of the year. We always play a wide variety of games – it's part of the job! – so we can keep you updated on what's what. Lists are an easy way to recommend a whole bunch of games at once, but it's also fun to get in on personal recommendations.
That's why we started this open thread: to help you find your next favorite game. Want something to play while you wait in line? We can help. Looking for something to play with a friend without a console? We have ideas. Want a masterpiece of a fantasy game that lasts for hundreds of hours? Yep, we have a suggestion there too. So ask away!
