Nothing has had a good 2024 so far thanks to the launch of the Nothing Phone (2a). The company also recently launched its latest audio product Ear and Ear (a), and it's almost that time of year when Nothing launches a new flagship Nothing Phone. While we don't have reports of the Nothing Phone (3) landing anytime soon, the current smartphone market and trends give us enough freedom to speculate what the phone's (3) specs could look like. Here is our summary of Nothing Phone (3).

Nothing Phone (3): Release date, leaked specs, rumors and more

The Nothing Phone (3) is expected to launch sometime in September. The Phone (2) was launched in July last year, but the Phone (2a) came out in March, followed by a new colorway of the same on April 29. Given the good sales figures for the Phone (2a), nothing would want to keep the hype alive for a while, and that could be why the Phone (3) might launch in September or October instead. However, we could be wrong.

One of the main questions that we have had in mind since the launch of the phone (2a) is which Qualcomm processor None should choose in the phone (3). With recent Snapdragon SoC releases, the answer to that question has become clearer, and we believe the Nothing Phone (3) will likely feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. As noted in our Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 vs 8s Gen 3 comparison, it has the former a better multi-core score while the latter is somewhat power-hungry.

Although we wouldn't be surprised if nothing ends up with SoCs that are more affordable. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is significantly older than the 8s Gen 3, but we're not sure if it still costs more per unit than the 8s Gen 3. We wouldn't know until we get the phone's first performance leak (3) ).
