One of the selling points of Nothing phones, apart from their unique transparent design and Nothing OS, is the Glyph Interface. Although it is debatable whether their existence is a blessing or a gimmick, it is definitely one of the most unique designs. Glyphs is Nothing's unique take on a stagnant smartphone industry, and it appeals to many. There are tons of things you can do with Glyphs besides using it for notifications, so here's our guide to the different uses of Nothing's Glyph interface, the only guide you'll need.

17 Nothing OS Exclusive features that will make anyone jealous!

Flip to Glyph is a flagship glyph feature that activates Do Not Disturb when you turn it on and place your phone on a table with the screen facing down. The glyphs flash when you receive a call or notification. The Flip to Glyph feature works on Phone (1), Phone (2) and Phone (2a).

If the "Hey Google" or "OK Google" voice match is enabled and the Assistant is activated when the device is facing down, the lower Glyph lights will light up and move as you speak. That way, you know you've activated Assistant and interact with it without picking up the phone. Works on both phone (1) and phone (2) but not available on the latest phone (2a).

When your phone is plugged in and turned over, you can wiggle it to check the charge level. This again can be extremely useful if you want to check the remaining charge but don't want to turn on the phone as it will distract you. It is available on both Nothing Phone (1) and (2) and works well.
