The doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates, Tony Tony Chopper, is one of the most unique creatures in One Piece history. He is actually a reindeer who ate the Hito Hito no Mi, which allowed him to transform into a human form and a human-reindeer hybrid. However, Chopper managed to unlock seven more transformations that gave him an advantage in various scenarios.
Chopper's Devil Fruit differs from other typical Zoan Devil Fruits in that it does not fully transform Chopper into a human. He can still retain some of his pure traits, and this has led many One Piece fans to question the Devil Fruit. Some fans even believe that this may have been a mistake on Eiichiro Oda's part.
However, according to an observation by a One Piece fan on Reddit, Oda proved his smarts by avoiding Chopper's full human transformation. The manga creator saved himself from a lot of racist accusations by making Chopper a mixture of reindeer and humans.
