Earlier reports stated that we would see Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson and Italian actress Sabrina Impacciatore in the lead roles. However, any confirmed news about their on-screen characters is yet to be revealed. Filming will begin in July, so there's a chance we'll hear an announcement about the official name of the series along with other cast details.

As reported by Variety, NBCU Entertainment president Lisa Katz revealed how popular The Office has become over the years. She also said, "In partnership with Universal Television and led by the creative team of Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, this new series set in the Dunder Mifflin universe introduces a new cast of characters in a fresh setting ripe for comedic storytelling: a daily paper."
