After much anticipation and rumours, Apple has finally announced the launch date for the Vision Pro. According to the official press release, the Vision Pro will be available for purchase from Apple retail stores in the US starting February 2, 2024.

The Apple Vision Pro headset will launch in the US on Friday, February 2.

While it was speculated that Apple will initially limit the Vision Pro to only its resellers, Apple has announced that the Vision Pro will also be available through the US Apple Store online with pre-orders beginning Friday, January 15, 2024.

At its WWDC 2023 event where the Apple Vision Pro was unveiled, the tech titan already announced that the Vision Pro will cost $3,499. Now, it has been revealed in the press release that the base variant of the Vision Pro will have 256GB of internal storage. In addition, ZEISS optical inserts for those who wear glasses will cost $99, and custom prescription inserts will be available for $149.

The Apple Vision Pro will be available in two band options – Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band. Users can choose the band type for maximum comfort and snug fit. The Apple Vision Pro box contents have also been specified by Apple – Light Seal, two Light Seal pads, an Apple Vision Pro case on the front of the device, polishing cloth, battery, USB-C charging cable and USB-C power adapter.
