Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is almost here and the voice behind Captain Demetrian Titus got married just before the official release date. Clive Standen steps in to replace Mark Strong from the original game and takes it all in as the lead for arguably one of the most anticipated games of the year. Strong was unable to reprise his role for unknown reasons and Standen was the perfect candidate to bring Titus to life.
Rework can make or break a project; however, it appears that Standen has the acting chops to deliver a stellar performance. Acting can take a toll on an actor's life but Standen remembered to look at the big picture and prioritize his significant other on their special day.
Game development can take a toll and the gaming community would have loved to see the Warhammer series grow and adapt to times of inclusivity. Some fans are bothered by the lack of female characters, which is an interesting topic, especially in 2024. Captain Demetrian Titus is back to lead his Space Marines against the Tyranids, and Clive Standen has a lot to live up to given the iconic protagonist's previous outing in video games.
