It's easy to observe how FPS shooters have been all the rage lately, especially with the dominance of games like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant dominating the industry. But while a few dozen action-shooter games are released every year, only a few can survive in the long run.
David Jaffe, the early director of the God of War series, has come to the rescue of such a game, on his official X/Twitter handle how players are missing out on one of the best action shooters ever.
Released in September 2021, Severed Steel is a unique single-player shooter with fluid movements and "tons of cult time". The level design also features a destructible environment, allowing the player to cause an enjoyable amount of mayhem.
