The new chapter of the Egghead arc i.e. One Piece chapter 1123 finally revealed Dr. Vegapunk's master plan in a flashback, leading fans to understand the decision behind his death and apologize to Sanji supporters. Thanks to the data from the power station, Shaka, Pythagoras and the primary Stella were able to discover that someone had tampered with the data and stolen part of the Mother Flame. They suspected the other satellites, mainly Lilith, to be the traitor. But a week later, Pythagoras was able to find the culprit, York (whom manga readers already knew). She had fed false memories into the Punk Records, and the vital information revealed her true colors.

York sent part of the Mother Flame to the World Government, leading to the Lulusia Incident. She also betrayed Stella by revealing to Gorosei that he was researching the Void Century. After the Lulusia tragedy, Vegapunk concluded that the World Government holds one of the ancient weapons and he regretted causing this incident.
