The One Piece Day event is held every year to celebrate the beginning of the greatest pirate adventure of our lifetime. As we enter July 2024, it's that time of year again, and we're ready to kick off the festivities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the One Piece anime. ONE PIECE DAY 2024 – FIRST DAY NEWS – WHAT HAPPENED ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT
The One Piece manga was first serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump on July 22, 1997, and that day is now celebrated annually as One Piece Day. The 25th anniversary of the One Piece anime coincides with this year's celebration.
The Japan Anniversary Association has also given the green light to celebrate the official One Piece Day starting this year. Therefore, Toei Studios, Shueisha and Bandai Namco have joined forces to organize massive parties for the fans. It will be held on 9 and 10 August.
It has been confirmed that the One Piece Day events will take place over two days — August 9th and August 10th. This year's annual event will take place at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Chiba City, Japan.
