We had been enthusiastically awaiting the release of the One Piece live-action series in the fall of this year. Netflix has officially confirmed that the One Piece live-action release date is August 31, 2023. As for the release time, Netflix has a habit of releasing a new series at 12:00 PM PT around the world. The live-action adaptation of One Piece will have a total of 8 episodes. Therefore, these eight episodes will cover the first saga of One Piece, which will cover six arcs. It was a bit sad to see that there are only eight episodes in One Piece live-action season 1. But the duration aka running time of each episode is about 1 hour long. It's a great relief to know that we will get to see Straw Hat's adventures for a longer period of time each episode.
