The One Piece live-action adaptation has managed to exceed expectations and has brought several new fans into the pirate journey with our beloved protagonist Luffy. Ever since the first season was released, everyone has been wondering whether or not we'll get another season, and well, we have an answer today. Just moments ago, Netflix confirmed that One Piece live-action Season 2 has been greenlit, and we'll soon be able to see Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates travel across the Grand Line. In an official tweet from the Netflix account, we have One Piece writer Eiichiro Oda delivering this exciting news. Speaking to his fans via a Den Den Mushi (aka Transponder Snail), Oda confirms that Netflix has renewed One Piece for Season 2.
"Thank you so much to everyone who has been a fan of One Piece for years, and to those experiencing One Piece for the first time. Two weeks after its launch, I just received some great news… Netflix has decided to renew the show ", Oda sensei said in his message.
