OPM fans were hugely excited as One Punch Man Season 3 was already on the horizon. Well, now we have one more thing to celebrate as a new piece of news arrived today. In 2022, Sony Pictures Entertainment announced a live-action adaptation of One Punch Man by ONE and Yusuke Murata. While the film is still in production, new writers have been hired to rewrite the script.

Sony's latest announcement revealed that Justin Lin, the mastermind behind the Fast and Furious films, would be helming the One Punch Man live-action film as director.
Along with Lin, Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner (of Venom fame) were previously hired to write the script. According to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, Dan Harmon (co-creator of Rick and Morty) and Heather Anne Campbell (of Whose Line Is It Anyway? fame) have been brought in to completely rewrite the script for the live-action movie.
