Vincent D'Onofrio recently gave an interview where he revealed that Daredevil: Born Again will not tone down its violence in any way.

DAREDEVIL: Born Again is VERY different from Netflix shows, says Vincent O'Onofrio

Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin stands out above all versions of the character for a reason. Wilson Fisk is an important villain to many characters, and even though he is only one man, the power and control he has over the city of New York has made him a man to be feared. The 2015 Daredevil has a level of humanity to him that makes it hard for audiences to completely hate him.

While that's part of his character, he's also ruthlessly violent in the Netflix show. Since the series' cancellation and his return to the MCU in Echo and Hawkeye, fans have been curious as to how Daredevil: Born Again will treat his character. During a recent interview, D'Onofrio spoke about just that.

One of the biggest fears fans had when hearing about Daredevil: Born Again was that the series would tone down its violence. When Netflix made the original series, they didn't shy away from the character's violent origins, and the original series was quite graphic.
