This chaotic action RPG, often called "Pokemon With Guns" did surprisingly well precisely because of its ridiculous gameplay, chaotic world and most importantly, completely crazy Pals.
The reason for negative criticism from some major companies and news networks stems from the fact that Palworld bears an uncanny resemblance to Pokemon. From catching Pals to the overall artwork, the game carries some kind of Pokemon vibe.
