As with most RPGs, you'll find a bunch of unidentified items during your playthrough in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
Of course, you have to identify them first in others to reveal their stats so you can benefit from those stats.
The catch is that the item identification in the game is different than in other games.
