The Witcher is one of the popular fantasy action series out there and the next installment in the series, The Witcher 4, is currently in development at CD Projekt Red. There is a lot of hype surrounding the game but the developer has not shared anything other than a single image.

There are now reports that the series is deviating from Geralt in the upcoming game. However, this alleged change is not going down well with fans and they are advocating for the popular character to be at the center of the title.

Witcher 4 developer CD Projekt Red has already said that Geralt of Rivia's story has ended and that there may be a new protagonist in the upcoming game. Geralt voice actor Doug Cockle also recently revealed that the character will not have a central role.
