When it comes to superhero movies, there have been more than a handful of misses before the age of CGI led to the establishment of the critically acclaimed Marvel Cinematic Universe and its not so critically acclaimed counterpart, the DC Universe. While DC is getting new life as of now under James Gunn, there was once a time when its mythos inspired the creation of two of the worst comic book movies of all time: Halle Berry's Catwoman and Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern.
Although Reynolds' first superhero outing is considered the worst of all time, one scene from Berry's DC outing is enough to convince that it is more worthy of such a title.
Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern is a critically panned superhero movie that most DC fans and Reynolds himself would like to forget. The only good thing about the film was that it led to one of the most followed celebrity couples of all time: Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, who starred as his on-screen love interest in the film.
