There are some fans of this franchise who don't understand why this keeps happening.

It's FINALLY back in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer!

Activision continues to insist on releasing each new installment of the Call of Duty franchise on previous generation consoles. Users found that these consoles do not even meet the minimum requirements for Modern Warfare 3 on PC.

They question the release of Black Ops 6 on these consoles, given their obvious technical limitations. A post on Reddit became quite popular, showing the requirements for one of these games and clearly stating how the previous generation hardware is no longer compatible with them.

As always, any new Call of Duty release is a resounding success for Activision, regardless of quality. This video game franchise is one of the most profitable, releasing a new game every year. However, the studio insists on releasing the latest versions on previous generation consoles. Despite the performance and hardware limitations in general, players will get a poor looking game.
