The launch of India's payment solutions startup, including UPI, in Singapore aims to expand the country's digital financial system on an international scale. To power the RuPay digital payment system, India has partnered with Singapore's 33-year-old Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS) to enable its users to make payments across Singapore. The platform will even allow them to make online purchases through the 2.8 million RuPay PoS terminals across e-commerce platforms across India.
