You don't need your notebook to remember The Lost Crown's huge map

NEW METROID VANIA! I played Prince of Persia The Lost Crown! First Impressions & Game overview

If you've played a Metroidvania before, you've had this moment: you trip over a pit of spikes that's too wide for your current charge, and then you hope and pray that when you get the airdash or double jump or whatever, you'll remember to go back to this very place. And then, six hours later, when you get that upgrade, you'll think "Where the hell was that pit of spikes?" And you'll be stumbling around for hours trying to hike back to it, going crazy in the process.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the new 2.5D Metroidvania from Ubisoft, has an ingenious solution to this problem.

In the old days, the way to remember where the pit of spikes was was required to be diligently noted down, sometimes on graph paper.
