Although Microsoft is said to debut the first Snapdragon X Elite PC with its Surface line on May 20, Qualcomm has teased a surprise announcement for the Snapdragon X series much earlier. While Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon X Elite chipset back in October 2023, this could be a formal announcement by the company on different SKUs of the SoC platform. In addition to the 12-core Snapdragon X Elite, there is reportedly an 8-core variant called the Snapdragon X Plus. It also provides 5G connectivity on the go and can compete with the base Apple M2/M3 chipsets.

There are also different power profiles for the control circuit, from 23W to 80W. Here are the different SKUs for the Snapdragon X-series chipsets we've found so far.
