Raspberry Pi CEO discusses computer company's IPO in London
The offer price of £2.80 ($3.57) gave the company a market capitalization of around £541.6 million ($690.2 million) when conditional trading began. The size of the offer amounted to 166 million pounds ($211.6 million), which corresponds to 30.7 percent of the company's ordinary shares.
Should an over-allotment option be removed – which seems likely – the size of the final offering would be £178.9 million ($228 million), or 33 percent of Raspberry Pi's ordinary shares.
Unconditional trading starts on June 14.
