A sequel to Red, White & Royal Blue is in the works from Prime Video. Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez both reprise their roles as Prince Henry and Alex Claremont-Diaz, Matthew López, director and writer of the first film, returns to write the screenplay. And for anyone worried that the sequel might not capture the spirit of the book, don't worry — author Casey McQuiston will also be on board to pen the script.
Based on the wildly popular romance novel of the same name, Red, White & Royal Blue follows a fictional Prince of England and the son of the President of the United States who fall in love after some wonderful tension between rivals and friends. The film adaptation changes some details, but otherwise it is a fairly faithful rendering of the story that charmed many hardcore fans of the book.
