A blessing to Innies and Outies everywhere

Returning to work after being away for a while can be tough — but we're making an exception for Severance Season 2, which will finally arrive on January 17, 2025.

Of course, it won't be quite as long for the characters we're following: While Season 1's harrowing cliffhanger left Mark (Adam Scott) and his friends in open defiance of Lumon Industries' orders, the trailer shows them back at the office. Aided by the departure technology that disconnects their workdays from their home lives, their return to their desks can be a blink since we last saw them, learning all that crazy crap about Mark's wife and Hellie's (Britt Lower) true identity.

That said, their world has certainly changed—in fact, Apple TV Plus' official synopsis says the group will "learn the dire consequences of ignoring the exit barrier, leading them further down a path of misery."
