A One Piece theory reveals that Shanks may be able to get his hand back but he has to eat a Devil Fruit, which is forbidden within his crew.

Everything we know about red hair explained!

Eiichiro Oda's One Piece has seen many powerful characters over the past 27 years, but none of them are as terrifying as Red-haired Shanks. Shanks, the longest holder of the title of Emperor of the Sea, has proven his worth in almost every aspect of the One Piece story, be it strength or ambition. But what makes these feats even more impressive is the fact that Shanks did all of this with just one hand.

As One Piece fans know, Shanks lost his arm while saving Luffy from the Sea King, the Lord of the Coast. He sacrificed his arm to save the future, and Luffy proves his decision right. However, looking at Shank's true strength in the latest episode, One Piece fans have been wondering how powerful he would be if he had both hands.

Although it is now impossible for Shanks to get his hand back, a One Piece theory claims that there is still a chance for fans to see what Shanks could do with both hands. But for this theory to come through, Shanks might have to break his own rule and eat a Devil Fruit. The devil fruit that can make this happen is Hana Hana no Mi from Nico Robin.
