The news of Jonathan Major's departure from the MCU has been bittersweet for many. While fans understand the reasoning behind it, since his trial didn't end in his favor, they can't help but feel bad about his firing. Kang the Conqueror is a beloved character from the comics, who is iconic in many ways. However, there was something about the live-action version of him that just didn't feel the same to fans.

Audiences expressing their displeasure with the main villain in the fifth phase and Major's run-in with the law happened around the same time, and Marvel decided to go in a different direction. After it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. would return to the MCU, this time as Doctor Doom, all seemed to be forgotten about the Conqueror.

But during a recent invasive interview, Majors revealed his thoughts on the matter, and he doesn't seem the least bit pleased.
