Emilie is a strong Dendro sub-DPS and she will be featured in the second phase of banners in Genshin Impact 4.8. Her kit is linked to the Burning reaction, which deals tons of increased damage when enemies are on fire nearby. However, there are a lot of great Sub-DPS characters in Genshin Impact, so players are questioning whether it's worth pulling for Emilie. If you're on the fence about whether or not to pull Emilie, here's the complete guide on her strengths and weaknesses, along with comparisons to other Sub-DPS units.

Why you should pull Emilie

Emilie's kit is linked to the burning elemental reaction triggered by the Pyro characters. Her elemental skill places a Dendro pod, which constantly deals Dendro damage with a target on nearby enemies, even without Emilie active on the field. When allies trigger the burning reaction on enemies near the pods, the Dendro pod levels up and deals more damage.

This way, Emilie's entire kit focuses on taking out a large amount of damage on Dendro off the field, while nearby enemies are on fire. Her main source of damage comes from her high attack multipliers which are triggered when enemies are on fire nearby. Emilie is all about Attack, and she can only damage enemies and can't give any buffs to allies. One thing to note is that Emilie does not increase the damage of the Burning reaction, but increases her own damage while Burning is triggered nearby.
