Smartron is an India-based technology company that first made its name by releasing a budget version of the Microsoft Surface Pro called the t-book. The company followed that up by releasing its own line of budget Android smartphones under the t.phone brand. Now the company is back with a brand new product that they are trying to break into the workout clothing market. The new product, called "t.band", is a fitness band and it looks very promising on paper. When it comes to the design of the Smartron t.band, it seems like the company hasn't put much thought into it as it looks just like any other fitness band out there. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but a touch of originality would have been nice. Getting past my design issue, the build quality of this thing is great. The brains of the device are housed in a stainless steel tracker that is rectangular in shape. The tracker also has tang buckles with quick release pins on both sides that make it easy to change the straps.
