The US National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has challenged SpaceX's severance package, claiming the paperwork illegally limits what staff can say and do when they leave the rocket maker.

"The complaint alleges that these illegal employment contract provisions have interfered with, restricted and coerced employees in the exercise of rights guaranteed by the National Labor Relations Act," an NLRB spokesperson told The Register.
