Elon Musk's SpaceX is disputing claims that its rockets are polluting Texas waters thanks to the flooding system used to stop Starships from tearing up the launch pad at launch.

According to the report, SpaceX violated environmental regulations by releasing pollutants into or near Texas waterways.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is reported to have received 14 complaints alleging environmental impacts from SpaceX's deluge system.
According to the CNBC article, SpaceX was forced to add a waterflood system to Starship's ground system after the first launch tore pieces out of the launch pad and threw debris, including chunks of concrete, over a large area.
