The cast of the upcoming Star Trek series for young adults has officially been welcomed into the Star Trek universe. At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the Star Trek panel showed a video of showrunner Alex Kurtzman telling the young actors they got the parts.

Additionally, it was announced that Tig Notaro, Mary Wiseman, Oded Feher and Robert Picardo would be reprising their Star Trek: Discovery roles for this new show.
