You are fishing wrong in Stardew Valley..

I'm one of the weirdos in Stardew Valley who loves to fish.
Fishing is notoriously one of the hardest parts of Stardew Valley. It's not really intuitive to pick up and even if you get decent at it, so much depends on reaction speed and timing that it sometimes throws a wrench in the otherwise cool game. But to me, fishing is unfairly maligned in the Stardew Valley community.
