Of all the superhero or, well, villain groups out there, the Suicide Squad is one of the most popular out there. Aside from a couple of movies, we haven't seen any good video game adaptations for the quirky and badass characters. Now we'll discuss the good and the bad below, but Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is Rocksteady's attempt to bring this villainous group to life. But while the studio is doing its best, the game is plagued by some major issues that I can't afford to turn a blind eye to.

I absolutely do not recommend: Suicide Squad – Kill the Justice League (Review)

Thanks to a key from Warner Bros. we've been running and flying around Metropolis for almost two weeks now. And while the discourse surrounding the game has been all over the place, I think Rocksteady's first game in more than a decade tries to bring something new to the table.

But as you spend more and more time in the game, things start to fall like dominoes. Being one of the biggest game launches of 2024, how is it doing amid all the discourse?

The game takes place in the timeline of the Batman: Arkham games, four years after the Caped Crusader's escapades in Arkham Knight. But this time, instead of following what happened to Bruce Wayne, we're in control of Task Force X. Forced by Amanda Waller of ARGUS to go behind enemy lines and thrown into a war-torn Metropolis, the goal is simple – take down Justice League, the heroes we've all come to love.
