Terminator Zero received a 96% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. With this, the Netflix series has surpassed the rating of the Terminator sequels.

Exciting new Terminator reboot by James Cameron

With its recent release on Netflix, Terminator Zero has become the talk of the town. The series had a colossal responsibility to do justice to the legacy of the Terminator series, and it seems to be doing quite well on that front. It's a great mix of horror, action and sci-fi. The last time this combination was seen in the Terminator franchise was in the original Terminator movie (1984). Since then, the franchise has become more action oriented.

After many years, the original atmosphere has returned with the Netflix anime series. The makers knew what the fans were missing and they brought it back. This is also why Terminator Zero has surpassed the Terminator Franchise, and currently stands in second place, only behind the original film.

Terminator Zero takes place in the Terminator universe but with a new cast. Most fans were on the fence about their expectations for the show, whether they should be excited or prepared for another disaster. Doing the former would have been the right choice as the show has beaten the Terminator sequels in terms of ratings. The James Cameron classic retains the top spot with a 100% rating, rightfully so, but the rest of the franchise has been surpassed.
