Game of Thrones got off to a rough start with the infamous scrapped pilot episode, where everything seemed to have gone wrong, from the plot to the casting. Even Jason Momoa felt like he wasn't really present until they replaced the actress who plays Daenerys Targaryen.

Along with the rework came the modification of some key details that upset author George RR Martin. He didn't like what they had done with the intimate scene between Daenerys and Khal Drogo.
