Whether or not Oda's daughters will carry on his legacy is a genuine question
One Piece's Missing Character
The creator of the globally acclaimed One Piece manga, Eiichiro Oda, has earned a large fortune through his creative pursuits. His masterpiece created a cultural phenomenon and he achieved a significant net worth from the venture. But as his career progresses, the question of who will inherit his empire of wealth and legacy naturally arises.
Oda has always had a relatively private life. He was born on January 1, 1975 in Japan's Kumamoto Prefecture. Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball inspired Oda's journey as a manga artist, who initially began his career as a wage laborer interested in oil painting. Oda currently stands as one of the richest manga artists in Japan.
Oda's parents are not so famous; his mother was a typical housewife. His father, Seiichiro Oda, was a salaryman who enjoyed oil painting as a hobby. Oda has at least one sibling, an older sister, whom he has discussed in his SBS columns.
