With the threat of an indictment not imminent, The Apprentice cast and crew can breathe easy in hopes of moving forward with its October release date.

Sebastian Stan plays Donald Trump in 'The Apprentice'

When it was first announced that fans would be blessed with the opportunity to see a Donald Trump biopic, people were shocked. After all, the business mogul has always remained a controversial figure, even before he stepped on the political bandwagon.

Add to that the fact that the film would hit theaters the year the US goes to the polls. Trump's camp was in no mood to go easy on the film directed by Ali Abbasi. But a new development suggests the Sebastian Stan star may still have a chance.

The Apprentice boasts an ensemble cast consisting of Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong. Director Ali Abbasi assisted them in their expedition into the life of one of America's most talked about and influential businessmen, along with Gabriel Sherman, the man who came up with the film's script.
