Unlike Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts thinks Madame Web is a great film from SJ Clarkson

Emma Roberts BLAMES INTERNET CULTURE for Madame Web Flop

Emma Roberts played the brief role of Mary Parker in Dakota Johnson's SSU film, Madame Web. While Johnson understood her mistake in accepting the role in the poorly made film, Roberts defended it. She expressed her love for the film and shared that she was willing to return to the role in the future. She also went on to blame the internet for the film's failure.

While Roberts believes that it was the online critics who ruined the film, that is far from the truth. Fans didn't care enough about the clairvoyant hero in the first place, but the wooden dialogues and underwhelming action made matters worse.

Madame Web finally has a defender among its cast. Earlier, Dakota Johnson shared that she wasn't surprised that the film was "torn to shreds" (via Bustle). She also added in the interview that she would probably never do anything like Madame Web again. Sydney Sweeney's monologue on Saturday Night Live proved that she was ashamed of her role in the film.
