The Cycle: Frontier can be a challenging game for new players. Especially considering you're likely to die and lose all your gear. But that's where insurance comes in. Insurance helps reduce the loss of items in the event of death. Here's exactly how it works.

Getting insurance is relatively easy. On the loading screen, before deploying to a map, you should see a screen like this:

You will notice that the insurance option is at the top left of the screen. First, it doesn't say about costs or the like. You can turn it on by just clicking the on button, which ensures your full charge. Please note that items in your backpack do not count as insurance at all. Either way, once you've activated it, it will tell you what the policy costs and how much you'll get in the event of death.
