Art imitates life. After all, a number of films and TV series are based on everyday life, and The Bear is the perfect illustration of this, since the story itself is about a chef. The point is that when it comes to an audiovisual production, details need to be changed not only to understand the plot but also for drama and pace, for example.

But for some who can relate, it's hard not to compare whether what is seen on the screen is actually the image of reality. That's exactly what happened when a Michelin-starred chef was asked to evaluate scenes from the series. Maybe there was a lack of research?

According to master chef Paul Liebrandt, the answer is yes. In a video for the Insider channel, he broke down some of the scenes in the show. According to him, much of what is shown in the first episodes of the first season is based on a reality that no longer exists.
